Long before the world forgot that dragons once ruled the skies, one dragon made a choice that would change history forever.
Ashur surrendered his wings, his fire, and the ancient power of his kind to walk among humans. With that sacrifice, the age of dragons ended… and the truth of their existence faded into myth.
Centuries later, in the quiet city of Kingsport, Vesta Vale believes her life is ordinary—until a mysterious pendant awakens something inside her that should not exist. Strange visions begin to haunt her, and powerful forces start moving in the shadows.
A brilliant but dangerous scientist named Erebus believes Vesta may hold the key to unlocking a power the world was never meant to see again.
As forgotten legends rise and dangerous experiments spiral out of control, Vesta is pulled into a hidden war between the past and the future. Because the sacrifice that ended the age of dragons did not destroy their legacy.
It only waited.
For an heir.
